Make it happen!
The Ferry Fringe is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the 2009 festival in June the best ever, building on the success of the smaller Autumn festival that has been held in the Burgh for the previous 3 years.
The Festival aims to comprise virtually every art form and feature artists from both the local area and further afield.
Chairman of the Festival, Mark Gorman said. "We are setting out to make South Queensferry the most exciting and interesting place to be in Scotland over four days in June , but we need enthusiastic help and support to make it happen."
Comedy, visual arts, music drama, poetry, animation film and open air environmental events are all on the agenda and The Festival is looking for people who have an interest in the arts, don't mind rolling their sleeves up and are good organisers. As Mark Gorman said "We currently have a core of six highly enthusiastic committee members but we'd like that to reach double figures. You don't have to live in South Queensferry to participate and we are looking for artists and acts from outwith the area as much as locally so it's a great opportunity to get involved in something that's great fun and not too onerous as a commitment."
